Finishes

All gilding is hand laid leaf.

All painted finishes are completely hand brushed. No spraying is ever done. All paints and sealers are water based and friendly to the environment. We never use oil base paint, lacquer, thinner or any other harmful product.

The six standard gilded finishes are:

Genuine 23K gold
Genuine white gold
Gold gilt (composition leaf)

Silver gilt (composition leaf)
Silver gilt w/brown wash
Copper gilt

The eight standard finishes are:

Weathered gesso
Stucco
Paint
Paint w/gilt

Mahogany
Faux marbre
Faux stone
French knot

The twelve standard paint colors are:

White
Black
Dark green
Italian green
Terra cotta
Oriental red

Light beige
Beige
Blue
Yellow ochre
Cinnabar
Dark brown

Because each lamp is finished by hand slight variations will occur.

Antiquing can be light, medium or heavy.
